Loralee was born and raised in Southern California, skateboarding the dusty asphalt of the Inland Empire, snowboarding the slopes of Big Bear, and basking on the beaches of Orange County. She gravitated towards the arts since junior high and solidified her passion by taking on a formal foundation in fine arts at University of California, Irvine, earning her Bachelor's degree in Studio Art with a Minor in Digital Art. To gear up for a specialization in industrial design, Loralee continued to further her technical education and obtained a product designer apprenticeship, but soon she secured a full-time position as a product developer for a licensed toy manufacturer. For the next 5 years in the corporate world, she worked with entertainment industry leaders such as Disney, Mattel, Hasbro, FOX, Sanrio and Universal. Loralee found her hand in all aspects of design -- from toy concepting to manufacturing, packaging, and marketing. After hours she found herself dabbling in projects on the side creating logos and branding.
Then she found love! She married Dan, a United States Marine, and her career took an unpredictable, yet exciting, new course. She was swept out from behind the cozy Newport Beach cubicle onto the adventures as a military wife. After experiencing the elaborate process of designing her own wedding stationery, she felt a desire to help other brides and added custom invitations to her repertoire. She continued to create custom stationery and graphics for friends, family, business owners and church ministries amidst traveling across the country and around the globe. Over time their family grew. Inspired by their two spirited daughters, Leyna and Hailey, she discovered a new found joy in customizing children’s parties and styling delectable dessert tables to every last detail.
Loralee aspires to use her talent, tools, and precious time that God has given her to connect people together through quality, innovative, and delightful design. Today, she resides in the beautiful island of Okinawa, Japan.
